GRAPH THEORY WITH APPLICATIONS
The applications have been carefully selected, and are treated in some depth. We have chosen to omit ail so-called 'applications' that employ just the language of graphs and no theory. The applications appearing at the end of each chapter actually make use of theory developed earlier in the same chapter.

proceedings.neurips.ccthe algorithms instead? In many real-world applications, it is typically the case that the same optimization problem is solved again and again on a regular basis, maintaining the same problem structure but differing in the data. This provides an opportunity for learning heuristic algorithms that exploit the structure of such recurring problems.
