1 CHAPTER 8 INTERIOR FINISHESSECTION of this CHAPTER shall govern the use ofmaterials used asinterior FINISHES ,trimanddecorative INTERIOR wall and ceiling provisions of Sec-tion 803 shall limit the allowable fire performance and smokedevelopment ofinterior wall and ceiling finishmaterials basedon occupancy INTERIOR floor provisions of Section 804shall limit the allowable fire performance ofinterior floor fin-ishmaterials based on occupancy classification.[F] Decorative materials and materi-alsandtrimshall be restricted by combustibility and the flamepropagation performance criteria of NFPA 701, in accordancewith Section buildings in flood hazard areas asestablished in Section , INTERIOR FINISHES ,trimanddeco-rative materialsbelow the design flood elevation shall beflood-damage-resistant materials shall be permittedto be used as finish for walls, ceilings.
