The DPPM circuit reduces the charge current Input Current when the input current limit causes the system output 100-mA Maximum Current Limit Ensures to fall to the DPPM threshold, thus supplying the Compliance to USB-IF Standard system load at all times while monitoring the charge current separately.

2 This feature reduces the number Input-based Dynamic Power Management of charge and discharge cycles on the Battery , allows (VIN- DPM) for Protection Against Poor USB for proper charge termination, and enables the Sources system to run with a defective or absent Battery pack. 28-V Input Rating With Overvoltage Protection Additionally, this enables instant system turn-on even Integrated Dynamic Power -Path Management with a totally discharged Battery . The Power -path management architecture also permits the Battery to (DPPM) Function Simultaneously and supplement the system current requirements when Independently Powers the System and Charges the adapter cannot deliver the peak system currents, the Battery enabling the use of a smaller adapter.

3 Supports up to 500-mA Charge Current With The Battery is charged in three phases: conditioning, Current Monitoring Output (ISET) constant current, and constant voltage.
