If the EDI-PI number is not on the back of your CAC card, proceed using the following instructions How to use the DOD EDI-PI Lookup Link If the EDI-PI number is not located on the back of your card or you do not readily have the CAC card of the person for which you are ordering, you can use the DOD EDI-PI Lookup link also located on the order input page. 1. Click the DOD EDI-PI Lookup link.

2 The screen in figure 2 will be displayed. From this screen you can search for the EDI-PI for any soldier based on First Name, Last Name, and/or email address. Enter the search criteria in the space provided and click Search. Figure 2 2. Search results are returned in the screen below. Click the link under Last Name. Figure 3 3. If you use Microsoft Outlook for email: Under Certificate Download Options, click Download Certificate(s) as vCard (Outlook & Internet Explorer or Netscape Required) link. (figure 4) 4. If you do not use Microsoft Outlook, proceed to step 10. Figure 4 5. Click the Hardware (CAC) Certificate link in Figure 5 Figure 5 6. When prompted, click Open. This will open a contact window in Microsoft Outlook.
