Gamma and Beta Integrals
Notice how we actually solved a more general integral in the process. We started with our original integrand just as a function of x, introduced an external parameter a, and then di erentiated with respect to a. In doing so, we derive a whole class of integrals at once, and we can substitute any appropriate value for ato get a speci c integral.
